In this role, you will be the frontline point of contact for managers and employees across Australia and NewZealand.
Reporting to APAC leadership within the global ER team, you will handle hands‐on case management covering workplace relations, performance challenges, and conduct matters.ResponsibilitiesServe as the day‐to‐day trusted advisor on all employee relations matters across Australia.Coach managers on documenting feedback, conducting difficult performance conversations, and supporting employees.Help design and implement Performance Management framework and documentation aligned to ANZ employment law.Independently manage and execute end‐to‐end workplace investigations.Work closely with HR Business Partners and provide advice on local legislation requirements, crisis resolution, and disciplinary processes.Education and Preferred Skills (Min 3years)3+ years of direct ER, HR,



or related experience, including performance management and/or workplace investigations.Solid knowledge of employment law and compliance in Australia.Experience with HR ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite; comfort navigating HRIS platforms.Comfortable with current AI tools and platforms; ability to apply AI outputs responsibly in ER contexts.Solid communication skills (verbal and written); ability to adjust style for diverse audiences.Comfort with ambiguity, stress, and emotionally charged situations.Data‐driven mindset with curiosity about how technology can improve processes.Creative problem‐solving and forward‐thinking approach.Additional RequirementsDue to the nature of the role, candidates must be based in Sydney and must be permanent residents or citizens to be considered for this role.Additional InformationSalt acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands across Australia as the continuing custodians of country and culture.
