Anaesthetic Technician (CCT)Employment Term: Full timeLocation: St Andrews War Memorial Hospital, BrisbaneRemuneration: $ - $ per hour + Super + Not‐for‐Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & AllowancesWhat you will doSupport the clinical and operational delivery of anaesthetic services within the Cardiac Catheter Theatre.Prepare, maintain and troubleshoot specialised anaesthetic equipment and monitoring systems.Assist anaesthetists and multidisciplinary team during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition throughout procedures.Maintain safe, effective and effective peri‐procedural care for patients.Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, patient safety and continuous improvement.Support introduction and evaluation of new equipment and technologies where required.Qualifications and ExperienceDiploma of Anaesthetic Technology or equivalent qualification.Previous experience as an anaesthetic technician within an acute healthcare facility.Knowledge of advanced anaesthetic equipment,
monitoring techniques and emergency management protocols.Ability to work efficiently in a high‐acuity environment supporting complex cardiac procedures.Excellent communication and teamwork skills with ability to build robust relationships across the multidisciplinary team.Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and evidence‐based practice.Australian working rights (no sponsorship).
