The Role
M&T; Resources is seeking an experienced Service Desk Manager for a short-term contract to drive operational excellence and lead a high performing team.
Working in the southern suburbs, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, optimising service delivery, and ensuring solid governance across our client's ITSM setting.
Skills and Experience
In this role you will
Lead, mentor and develop a team of Service Desk Officers and Network Engineers fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Oversee daily Service Desk operations, ensuring service levels, operational KPIs and customer satisfaction targets are consistently achieved.




Manage support queues, escalations and service performance
Improve customer experience by monitoring and enhancing key service metrics
Champion quality assurance, knowledge management, training and ongoing service improvement initiatives.
To be successful, you will have previous experience in a Service Desk Operations Lead, Service Delivery Manager, Service Desk Manager, Operations Manager or similar leadership role and have solid ITIL/ ITSM best practice knowledge.
Excellent leadership and strong stakeholder engagement skills are key to success in this role.
