Last Chance Tavern is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys leading from the front, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy hospitality venue.
About the Role
Reporting to Venue Management, your responsibilities will include:
Supervising daily bar operations
Preparing and serving beverages
Leading and supporting bar and floor staff during shifts
Assisting with staff training and development
Assisting with rostering and shift coordination
Stock control, stock ordering, and stock replenishment
Cash handling and end-of-day reconciliations
Ensuring compliance with RSA requirements and venue policies
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and customer experience
Assisting management with the overall operation of the venue
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:




Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within hospitality
Strong bar and customer service experience
Excellent communication and leadership skills
The ability to work in a quick-paced environment
A positive, skilled, and reliable attitude
A current RSA certificate
An Approved Manager's Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
