Intensive Care Unit Registrar Needed: Launceston, Tasmania (Short-Term) Our client, a hospital in Launceston, Tasmania, is seeking a motivated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registrar to join their team for a locum position.
Location: Launceston, a port city on Tasmania's beautiful northwest coast, has transformed from its industrial past into a vibrant and creative hub.
This locum opportunity offers a chance to experience the city's unique charm while contributing your skills to a supportive ICU team.
Position: Locum ICU Registrar Shift Structure (Choose your availability): Block 1: July 8th - 14th, (7 days)
Days: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Nights: On-call after hours and RMO duties Block 2: July 22nd - 28th, (7 days)
Days: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Nights: On-call after hours and RMO duties What we need:
Registration with AHPRA What we offer: Competitive daily rates:




$1,800 per day shift $2,000 per night shift Flights, accommodation, and car provided
Responsibilities: Work alongside a consultant available in office from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Participate in on-call duties after hours and fulfill RMO responsibilities.
Manage general ward work, code strokes, admissions from the Emergency Department (ED).
Respond to Code Blue and MET calls.
