About the Role
Reporting to the WHS Manager, you will play a key role in supporting Miwatj Health's, Safety and Wellbeing strategy.
You'll work closely with leaders and staff to create a protected, healthy and compliant workplace through solid systems, education, and continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on role where you'll influence safety culture, support risk management and contribute to meaningful outcomes across remote and regional settings.
Key Responsibilities
Support and maintain WHS systems, policies and compliance frameworks
Facilitate risk assessments (including psychosocial risks) and mitigation strategies
Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis
Deliver WHS training, inductions and awareness initiatives
Support workers compensation and return-to-work programs
Monitor,



analyse and report on WHS data and trends
Build strong relationships and provide practical safety advice across the organisation
About You
Experience in a WHS advisory or coordination role
Knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management principles
Experience in incident investigation and injury management
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to deliver training and influence positive safety behaviours
Ideally experience in the Health sector and / or working remotely in an NT context
High attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset
Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (or related discipline)
Current Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
National Police Check
Manual Driver's license
