Duties
Assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders across home and residential aged care settingsConduct dysphagia assessments and develop mealtime management plans in line with IDDSI guidelinesDesign and deliver individualised therapy programs for speech, language, voice and cognitive-communicationMaintain accurate clinical documentation including NDIS and Home Care Package reportingCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team and liaise with GPs, nurses, dietitians and case managersEducate and train clients, families and care staff in communication strategies and protected feeding practicesMaintain CPSP status and adhere to aged care quality standards and relevant legislation
Skills & Experience
Certified Practising Member registration with SPAPolice CheckDriver's licence + reliable carWWVP Check + NDIS OrientationCOVID-19 & Flu vaccinationFull working rights
