HealthX is seeking 4 Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) to work in an aged care facility in Mount Isa QLD .
These positions are full‐time contract positions for a 48‐month term (4 years) commencing in September .
Hourly rate of between $32–$37 plus shift allowances and super, paid in accordance to the Aged Care Award.
Must be willing to work 38 hours per week/76 hours per fortnight on a rotating roster across all shifts (day, afternoon, night).
Full‐time fixed term.

Duties include:
Provide resident care programmes to meet the individual needs of residents
Implement the philosophy, objectives and policies of the organisation
Comply with all confidentiality and privacy agreements entered into




Communicate to the RN/Team leader any changes observed in residents
Provide appropriate care to residents
Ensure residents have the opportunity to make informed choices and decisions regarding their care programmes
Foster valuable working relationships with everyone on the team
Commit to delivering quality care
Qualifications and attributes
Experience working in aged care is highly desirable but not essential
Ability to work as part of a team
Empathy and an emphasis on treating others with dignity and respect
Reliability and punctuality
Flexibility to work on a rotating roster across all shifts
