Canberra Child Psychiatry Centre provides child psychiatry services.
We have a state-of-the-art centre in Deakin.
We provide ongoing psychiatry care for young people transitioning to adulthood including young people with ADHD.
We share our inspiring clinic space in a multidisciplinary collaboration with a brilliant team of Psychologists, a paediatrician, 2 occupational therapists, and 2 paediatric psychiatrists.
The clinic is owner-operated with a focus on client care, clinician development, and providing a supportive and well-resourced practice to provide the best outcomes for clients and their families.
We are seeking a passionate Child Psychologist (General, Clinical, or Provisional) to join our team.
The position involves working with children and young adults with varying conditions including Autism, Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorders, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Sensory Processing Difficulties.

Qualifications & experience
A degree qualification in Psychology
Full AHPRA Registration (Provisionals will be considered on a case-by-case basis)




Current working with children check, police check
Tasks & responsibilities
Individual consultations with children and families
Keeping notes in line with AHPRA and APS regulations
Communication with relevant stakeholders (e.g. schools, doctors, families, allied health team etc)
The position includes:
A competitive above-award salary (for provisional) based on skills and experience and contractor percentage for clinical psychologist
