CHILD CARE GROUP LEADER (FULL-TIME)

AUD $69,000 – $90,000 per annum
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced
Child Care Group Leader
to join our early childhood education team in Zuccoli, NT.
This is a full time position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth, development, and wellbeing of young children in a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a group of children in a secure, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
Plan, implement, and evaluate educational and recreational programs that support children's learning and development.
Observe children's progress and maintain records relating to their developmental milestones, learning outcomes, and wellbeing.
Encourage children's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and creative development through age-appropriate activities.
Guide and mentor child care assistants and educators in the delivery of daily programs and routines.
Ensure compliance with relevant child protection, health, safety, and education regulations and centre policies.
Foster positive relationships with children, families,



colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Support children's nutritional, hygiene, and personal care needs while promoting independence.
Prepare learning materials, resources, and environments that stimulate children's curiosity and engagement.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Requirements
Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or a closely related field.
Demonstrated experience working with children in an early childhood setting.
Robust understanding of child development principles and early learning frameworks.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and lead a group of educators.
Current Working with Children Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates (or ability to obtain).
