About the RoleCannaponics Limited is seeking an experienced and highly organised Post-Harvest Lead to lead all post-harvest operations within our state-of-the-art medicinal cannabis cultivation facility.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring product quality, compliance, and efficiency across drying, trimming, curing, and packaging processes.You will play a key part in maintaining pharmaceutical-grade standards while optimising throughput and minimising loss.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all post-harvest activities including drying, trimming, curing, and packagingEnsure strict compliance with GMP, TGA, and relevant regulatory standardsManage and lead a team of post-harvest technicians and labourersDevelop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)Monitor product quality, moisture content, and cure profiles to meet medical-grade requirementsCoordinate with cultivation and processing teams to ensure smooth workflow and schedulingTrack yields, waste,



and operational metrics to drive efficiency improvementsMaintain accurate records for compliance, audits, and reporting
Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in post-harvest operations (cannabis, horticulture, pharmaceutical, or food processing preferred)Solid understanding of drying, curing, and product handling best practicesExperience managing teams in a high-compliance environmentFamiliarity with GMP or similar regulated frameworksStrong organisational, problem-solving, and leadership skillsAbility to operate in a fast-paced, production-focused setting
