Archer Heavy Equipment Repairs is seeking a part-time Workshop Administrator to join our busy heavy vehicle and equipment repair workshop.
As our Workshop Administrator, you will work closely with management, technicians, customers and suppliers to help keep the day-to-day operation of the workshop organised and running smoothly.
The role will involve booking jobs, assisting with scheduling, answering customer calls, creating and updating jobs in our workshop management system, following up technician notes, timesheets and job photos, assisting with quotes and invoices, raising purchase orders, liaising with suppliers for parts and pricing, and keeping customers updated on job progress.
You will need to be confident working in a rapid-paced workshop setting and comfortable following up technicians,



customers and suppliers to make sure jobs keep moving.
Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and a practical, common-sense approach are essential.
Previous experience in a workshop, mechanical, transport, fleet, parts, heavy vehicle, earthmoving, diesel mechanic, auto electrical, or trade administration environment would be highly regarded.
Experience with CRMs, Xero, parts interpreting, or similar workshop management systems would be a bonus.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being part of a busy workshop, understands the importance of accurate paperwork, and wants a secure part-time role with practical weekday hours.
