Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to NDIS participants with challenging behaviours, helping them to develop coping strategies and improve their quality of life.
The role requires a compassionate and patient individual who is able to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare specialists.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments to identify the root cause of challenging behavioursDevelop and implement behaviour support plans tailored to individual needsProvide training and support to clients, families, and caregivers on behaviour management techniquesMonitor progress and adjust support plans as necessaryCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to careMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and interventionsAttend team meetings and participate in case conferences as required
Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work,



or a related fieldPrevious experience working with individuals with challenging behavioursKnowledge of behaviour management techniques and evidence-based interventionsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCompassionate and patient approach to working with clients
