About Personal Support Worker
As a Personal Support Worker at Spinal Life Australia, you will assist clients with daily living activities, helping them maintain independence in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
Assist with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs (hoists used when necessary)
Provide personal care: grooming, bathing, dressing
Perform bowel therapy and catheter care
Support basic wound care and medication assistance
Offer domestic support: meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
Facilitate community access: support clients to attend appointments and social activities through driving or public transport

Requirements




Valid Australian manual driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
While prior experience is preferred, we are committed to providing comprehensive training for the right candidate.

Current NDIS Workers Screening Card or willingness to obtain.
Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
Completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module or willingness to complete.
Flexibility to pick up additional back‐fill shifts.
