Lecturer Workplace Health and Safety
We are seeking a motivated and industry‐experienced Lecturer to deliver high‐quality Workplace Health and Safety training.
The lecturer will develop and deliver both practical and theoretical content, facilitate learning, assess and mentor students following the relevant curriculum and training package requirements.
They will stay current with industry developments, support continuous career development and contribute to the College's educational quality.
Applicants will be assessed against suitability and qualification requirements.
Preference will be given to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants as per Section 51 of the Equal Opportunity Act (WA).
Qualifications
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent).
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE/TAE/TAE) or a secondary teaching qualification with an Assessors Skill Set (TAESS, TAESS or TAESS) in line with Registration Standards .
Candidates without this qualification must be willing to enrol and complete within two years.
Current Australian working rights.
Satisfactory Department of Education Criminal Clearance (less than 6 months old).
Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one.
