TEBCO is looking for a reliable and hard-working
General Labourer / Workshop Hand
to join our metal fabrication and manufacturing team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is practical, dependable, and happy to get stuck into a variety of workshop and yard duties.
The work will include metal grinding, painting, cleaning, general labouring, and helping tradespeople keep jobs moving.
About the Role
You will assist with day-to-day workshop and yard operations, including:
Grinding and cleaning metal components
Painting and preparing steel products
Keeping the yard and workshop clean, organised, and secure
Moving materials and assisting with loading/unloading
Helping tradespeople and machine operators as required
General labouring duties around the workshop
Using hand tools and basic workshop equipment
Following workplace safety procedures
What We're Looking For
The right person will be:
Reliable and punctual
Able to drive a forklift.
Forklift license would be ideal,



however we can assist with obtaining this for the right cadidate.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
Willing to learn and take direction
Able to work safely in a busy workshop environment
Comfortable working outdoors and in a manufacturing yard
A good team player with a practical attitude
Previous experience in a workshop, metal fabrication, construction, farming, or labouring role would be helpful, but it is not essential.
A strong work ethic and good attitude are more important.
