QC Manager | Quality Control Manager | Pharmaceutical | Analytical Chemistry
Lead, develop and run day‐to‐day operations of the QC department for a values‐driven organisation that prioritises quality.
Responsibilities
Manage the quality control of raw materials, bulk product and materials, packaging, and finished goods.
Oversee day‐to‐day laboratory operations for a team of 21 across 3 shifts (days, afternoons, nights).
Provide technical guidance with out‐of‐spec (OOS) investigations and troubleshooting.
Maintain robust working relationships with key departments such as manufacturing, warehouse, and purchasing.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet and exceed customer quality expectations.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in analytical laboratory, supervisory, and department management roles within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.
Science degree in Analytical Chemistry.
Demonstrated ability to lead a high‐performing team in a TGA & GMP environment.
Strong commitment to honesty, problem solving, and detail‐oriented quality control.
PR, AU or NZ citizenship and a valid Australian Driver's Licence.
