About the Role
Strathalbyn Family Medical Centre is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join a great supportive team in a casual role.
This role is perfect for someone who has excellent communication skills, is able to multi-task, and is comfortable working in a busy environment.
Valuable availability and flexibility to work with short notice would be ideal.
The successful candidate will hit the ground running and be highly motivated with a sound background in customer service.
Proficient computer skills are essential with a knowledge of medical software including Best Practice desirable.
Daily tasks and responsibilities will include:
Excellent customer service – you will be the first point of contact for our patients, in person and on the phone
Maintaining confidentiality while managing patient records
Processing payments, Medicare and third-party claims and reconciliations
Effective management of patient appointment types
General administration and daily office duties
Duties as required by Doctors and the Practice Manager
