AAMG is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our client's well-established workshop in Darra, Brisbane.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role working on mining equipment components in a clean, safety-focused workshop setting.

About the Role
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor,



you will be responsible for the overhaul and rebuild of mining equipment components including:
Suspensions
Wheel groups
Cylinders
Pump drives
Transmissions
Differentials
You will be required to:
Perform component rebuilds to OEM standards
Conduct inspections and fault finding
Utilise precision measuring equipment
Maintain a robust commitment to quality and safety
Work effectively both independently and within a team environment
To Be Successful You Will Have
Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification
Experience rebuilding heavy mobile plant or mining equipment components
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Forklift Licence (Highly desirable)
Dogging Ticket (Highly desirable)
Commitment to safe work practices
