For more than 70 years and through three generations, Kings Funerals have been trusted to provide care and support for bereaved families in Geelong, the Bellarine, Surf Coast and the surrounding region.
We are looking for people to join our casual Funeral Support Team to assist with the following duties:
Preparing the funeral venue before a service
Setting up and operating the audio visual equipment
Greeting and supporting the family and attendees at the beginning, during and immediately after the funeral service
Food and beverage service for refreshments
Cleaning of the funeral venue
Driving the hearse
Vehicle maintenance and cleaning
Transferring deceased people into our care
Preparing audio visual presentations and music playlists for funerals
Applicants must be:
At ease working in a funeral, cemetery and crematorium workplace
Caring, compassionate and empathetic
Proactive, show initiative with robust attention to detail
Customer focused with the ability to clearly communicate with your colleagues and the public




Able to work as part of a team and also on your own
Competent in setting up and running audio visual equipment
Experienced with commonly used computer programs such as Microsoft Office
Hard working and willing to learn recent skills
All applicants require an unrestricted Victorian driver's licence.
No previous funeral experience required - training and education provided.
Experienced funeral professionals are also welcome to apply.
