Heavy Diesel or Mobile Plant Mechanic looking to step into a Leading Hand role, this is your opportunity.
The Prospect
Lead, mentor and support a team of workshop technicians and apprentices
80% hands-on mechanical work | 20% workshop coordination
Service, maintain and repair premium earthmoving and mobile plant equipment
Diagnose complex faults and provide technical support to the team
Allocate work and coordinate daily workshop activities
Monitor productivity and ensure quality workmanship and on-time completion
Liaise with customers on repair progress and technical advice
Complete service reports and workshop documentation
Promote a solid safety culture and maintain WHS compliance




Work in a up-to-date, clean OEM workshop with quality tooling
What You'll Bring
Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel, Mobile Plant or Diesel Mechanic
Experience as a Leading Hand, Senior Technician or Workshop Supervisor
Strong background working on earthmoving, construction or civil equipment
Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Current Driver's Licence
Forklift, White Card or High-Risk Work Licence (advantageous)
