Profectus is seeking expressions of interest from End User Compute (EUC) Engineers to support likely upcoming work within government.
You will build, deploy, and support the end user workplace, keeping devices, applications, and access reliable for the people who depend on them.
These are likely to be Canberra-based roles supporting operational and project delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, and mobile devicesSupport and maintain the end user computing setting across hardware and softwareManage device enrolment and endpoint policy through tools such as Microsoft Intune and SCCMPackage, test, and deploy applications and updates to managed devicesResolve escalated Level 2 and Level 3 end user compute incidentsSupport imaging, refresh, and rollout activitiesMaintain configuration records and technical documentation




Required ExperienceProven experience in an End User Compute or desktop engineering roleStrong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 in a managed environmentExperience with endpoint management tools such as Intune, SCCM, or AutopilotFamiliarity with application deployment and device imagingSound understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues to resolution
Desirable ExperiencePrior experience within an Australian Government or similar secure environmentScripting experience with PowerShellExposure to up-to-date device management and zero-touch provisioningRelevant Microsoft certifications
Security Clearance RequirementsMust be an Australian CitizenActive AGSVA Baseline security clearance required
