School Crossing Supervisor – Casual – Gunnedah Local Government Area
Transport For NSW is looking for a School Crossing Supervisor to provide on‐site safety at school zones in Gunnedah.
The role is casual, with shifts during school term hours (8:00‐9:30 AM and 2:30‐4:00 PM).
You will work Monday to Friday, with a minimum one‐hour shift as required.
Responsibilities
Display a high level of road safety and maintain safety standards within school zones.
Show up on time and be reliable, working in all weather conditions.
Communicate effectively and be alert to potential dangers that could affect children and motorists.
Collaborate with community members, schools, parents and local police to ensure a protected workplace.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older at the time of appointment.




Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, reference checks, police check, and health assessment.
Commendable communication skills and a proactive approach to safety.
Previous experience with school crossing supervision or community safety is an advantage but not mandatory.
