Dicky Beach Surf Club is an award winning club -seeking to hire a motivated qualified chef.
This unique opportunity will provide the right applicant an chance to work in one of the Sunshine coasts most picturesque locations.
We offer above award rates and a flexible roster.
Shifts normally work from 11am - 8.30pm with an hour (or more) break Monday to Sunday.
We are looking for someone with a passion for creating quality food to join our amazing team.
The position is a full-time salaried role for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will:
Be Trade Qualified
Minimum Qualifications Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
Be motivated and willing to work in a team environment
Be driven by quality and customer satisfaction
Flexible working conditions for the right candidate
Have ability to work in a rapid paced environment
Minimum 2 years industry experience
Duties Include:




· Plan menus and food preparation issues with managers or head chef;
· Order food, kitchen supplies and equipment;
· Prepare and store food stuffs, ensuring stock rotation and control is maintained;
· Preparation of meals, ensuring presentation, portion control and quality is of the highest standard;
· Liaise with Head Chef or Managers on Functions or Special requirements;
· Maintain kitchen equipment and individual tools of the trade;
· Constantly update knowledge and skills to keep abreast of industry trends;
· Train and supervisor apprentices, trainees and other kitchen staff;
· Assist or compile kitchen rosters and staffing reviews;
· Relieving and performing other duties as directed by Supervisor or Management.
