Community Housing Limited is seeking a Housing Officer to deliver high quality tenancy and property management services in Morwell, Victoria.
Responsibilities
Deliver quality tenancy and property management services.
Support sustainable tenancies and positive housing outcomes.
Manage rent collection and arrears recovery accurately and in a timely manner.
Conduct condition reports, tenancy sign‐ups, entry procedures, lease and rent reviews, and exit procedures.
Liaise with asset teams regarding tenanted and vacated property maintenance.
Coordinate reporting, complaints, compliance, quality and accountability requirements to CHL standards.
Maintain accurate property and tenancy data across required systems.
Represent CHL at Tribunal or Court as required.
Provide information and advice to tenants to support sustainable tenancies.
Qualifications
Minimum two years' experience in a similar housing, tenancy or property management role.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act.
Experience delivering tenancy management, rent, arrears, compliance and customer service activities.




Awareness and sensitivity to the needs of people in housing crisis or with complex support needs.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including working with support agencies and government departments.
Commitment to the right of every person to good quality housing.
A current Driver's Licence.
