Job Description
The Moulder Technician is responsible for the protected and productive operation of the production line from blow moulding through to bagging, ensuring production targets and schedules are met.
The role includes operating and monitoring blow moulders, vision inspection systems, leak testers, conveyors and grinders, while working closely with the Quality, Production and Maintenance teams.
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Technician works as part of a two‐person shift team supporting a 24‐/5 manufacturing operation.
Available Shifts
Day – 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Afternoon – 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Night – 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Your Key Responsibilities Will Be To
Safely operate production equipment to achieve production targets.
Ensure products meet quality, food safety and customer requirements.
Comply with all WHS, quality, environmental and food safety standards.
Accurately record production and downtime data to support continuous improvement.
Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate when necessary.
Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance requirements.
Maintain high housekeeping and workplace organisation standards.
Your Skills And Experience
Experience operating blow moulding machinery or similar industrial equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude – a trade qualification is highly regarded.
The ability to identify issues, analyse problems and respond with effective, cost‐efficient solutions.
Experience working in a food manufacturing or similar high‐quality production workplace.
A proactive approach to safety and the ability to work within a strong behavioural safety culture.
Flexibility and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
