My client has been heavily in the media over the past years as destined to be a mid-tier producer within 5 years.
In order to do this they must obey WA laws when it comes to HSE and the Workplace.
Essential for the Role:
• Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in mining or heavy industry environmental management.
• Robust knowledge of Western Australian environmental legislation and approvals processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capability and experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strategic thinking with ability to deliver outcomes aligned to business objectives.
• Sound understanding of environmental risks, statutory requirements, and operational considerations.
• Valid Western Australian "C" Class Driver's Licence.
Preferred for the Role:
• Experience in gold mining or WA hard‐rock operations.
• Experience during construction, commissioning operations transitions.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary project engineering teams.
