Role Description The Finance Administrator is a full-time, in office role based at Dominic College in the Greater Hobart Area.
This position is responsible for day-to-day financial operations, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with budgeting and reporting.
The Finance Administrator will reconcile accounts, support payroll and fee management processes, and ensure compliance with relevant financial and school policies.
The role will collaborate with school leadership, teaching staff,



and external stakeholders to provide clear financial information and responsive administrative support.
The Finance Administrator will also contribute to process improvements and assist with periodic audits and financial reviews.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Finance and Accounting skills, including experience with accounts payable/receivable and general ledger tasks.Candidates should possess Financial Planning and Analytical Skills to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to liaise with staff, families, and external partners in a transparent and qualified manner.Candidates should be proficient with financial software and office applications, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Relevant qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field are desirable, along with experience in an education or not-for-profit environment.Candidates should demonstrate integrity, confidentiality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team within a values-based school community.
