The Role
A recent opportunity has arisen for a full-time Legal Assistant Float to work in our Brisbane Office.
As a Float Legal Assistant, you will display a willingness to learn and be adaptable, having some legal experience, ideally within a variety of practice areas.
Working alongside the Brisbane Administration team and various practice groups, the responsibilities of the role will include:
Answering phone calls and assisting with client enquiries;
Preparing legal documents;
Diary management;
Dictaphone typing;
Billing and timesheet entries;
Coordinating team meetings/events;
Mail merging documents and formatting;
Archiving;
File management; and
Assisting the Administration team when unallocated to a Practice Group
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and diary management skills, with a client service focus.
You will be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite including formatting, while showing strong attention to detail and time management skills.
You will have the ability to prioritise tasks, display initiative, have good attention to detail and a proven history of meeting deadlines.
The core office hours are 8.30am to 5pm.
