Kinbridge is partnering with a growing Western Australian contracting business to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to lead its finance function and support ongoing business growth.
Reporting to senior leadership, this role will take ownership of the day-to-day finance operations while ensuring robust financial reporting, compliance and process improvement across the organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically robust accounting qualified who enjoys leading a team and driving best-practice financial processes within a dynamic project-based workplace.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, accruals and journal entries.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports for senior leadership.
• Manage the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.




• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to support business decision-making.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, financial policies and compliance frameworks.
• Coordinate external audit processes and liaise with auditors as required.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting capability.
• Supervise, mentor and develop members of the finance team.
About You
• CA or CPA qualified.
• Demonstrated experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Senior Finance leadership role.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting capability.
• Experience managing month-end and year-end reporting processes.
• Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Experience within construction, contracting, engineering, mining services or project-based
