Austcorp Executive is partnering with a Mining & Exploration operator to recruit a
Senior Geologist
.
This person will be play a lead role in the design and execution of the exploration programs.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the exploration programs - mapping, field work, drilling campaigns, data interpretation, modelling and reporting.
Managing the budgeting, scheduling and task delegation across the exploration program.
Lead onsite exploration team and contractors.
Lead with passion and genuine motivation driving team productivity across the exploration program life cycle.
Work in Perth will be technical reporting, project management, modelling, data interpretation etc. and presentation of your findings to management to drive commercial decisions.
Please note:
This is
not a FIFO
role; site work is based around exploration programs, which is ad/hoc and project specific.




This would suit a person who wants the best of both worlds, who enjoys the site work when required and Perth based work when required to compliment their work life balance.
Your experience and skillsets will include the following:
Hands on exploration and leadership experience in commodities such as gold, copper, nickel or lithium mining.
Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor certificate
(Non-Negotiable Requirement).
Australian exploration mining experience with hard-rock mining.
Solid technical capability with experience in Mineral Systems Thinking, including: Geochemistry, Geophysics, Geological mapping, Target generation and geological interpretation.
Proven ability to manage exploration programs end-to-end, including: Target generation, Program design, Interpretation, reporting, and recommendations.
Familiar with WA exploration approvals and regulatory requirements.
Experience managing exploration budgets.
