Are you an experienced machine operator with a background in plastics manufacturing or high-speed production environments?
We are seeking a skilled
Conversion Operator
to join a leading manufacturing business on a
day shift basis
, with a genuine prospect to secure a permanent position.
This is a hands-on role operating and maintaining high-speed conversion machinery used to produce a range of plastic packaging products.

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate high-speed plastic conversion machinery
Configure and calibrate print registration systems and optical sensors
Monitor sealing temperatures, dwell times, tension controls, and cutting performance
Conduct quality inspections,



measurements, and seal integrity testing
Troubleshoot machinery and production issues to minimise downtime
Pack, stack, wrap, and prepare finished products for dispatch
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience operating high-speed manufacturing or conversion machinery
Experience within plastics, packaging, film, or related manufacturing industries highly regarded
Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools
Ability to perform machine setups, adjustments, and basic fault finding
Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Current LF Forklift Licence highly regarded but not essential
