Profectus is seeking expressions of interest from Application Packaging Engineers to support likely upcoming work within government.
You will package, sequence, test, and deploy applications to managed devices, making sure software reaches users cleanly and reliably.
These are likely to be Canberra-based roles supporting operational and project delivery
Key ResponsibilitiesPackage applications using MSI, MSIX, App-V, and scripted install methodsSequence and test applications for deployment across managed environmentsDeploy packages through tools such as SCCM and Microsoft IntuneTroubleshoot and remediate packaging, installation, and compatibility issuesPerform user acceptance testing and coordinate with application ownersMaintain a version-controlled packaging repository and supporting documentationSupport application rationalisation and migration activities
Required ExperienceProven experience in an application packaging role within a managed environmentStrong knowledge of packaging formats and tools such as MSI, MSIX, App-V,



and PSAppDeployToolkitExperience deploying applications through SCCM or IntuneScripting experience with PowerShell and VBScriptSound understanding of Windows desktop operating systemsAttention to detail and solid testing discipline
Desirable ExperiencePrior experience within an Australian Government or similar secure environmentExperience with application compatibility testing during OS migrationsFamiliarity with software distribution and license managementRelevant Microsoft certifications
Security Clearance RequirementsMust be an Australian CitizenActive AGSVA Baseline security clearance required
Working ArrangementsPrimarily onsite in Canberra
