Modedu is an SaaS enabled marketplace on a mission to change how Australian students learn, not just for exams, but for life.
Traditional tutoring has always been a black box, parents pay for hours but rarely see real proof of progress until exam day.
We're changing that by pairing high performing mentors with AI feedback loops built directly into live 1:1 lessons, giving students, parents and educators a real time view of progress instead of a guess.
We're a bootstrapped, quick growing EdTech company approaching profitability, and we move quickly, stay lean, and expect everyone on the team to contribute at a high level.
The Role
The bulk of your time will be spent on marketing and content, but you'll also get exposure across the wider business: speaking directly with parents and students, supporting customer service, managing users on our platform, and shaping UX improvements.
You'll get a genuine, end to end view of how a quick growing EdTech business is built and run.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Marketing & Content (main focus)
Own content from idea to execution: scripting, shooting, editing, posting across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn




Help run Meta and LinkedIn ad campaigns: managing spend, testing creatives, tracking performance
Build and grow our social communities
Check in with students and parents on how they're experiencing the platform
Handle queries and support day to day platform operations
Requirements
Strong sense of agency and urgency, you take ownership and move fast without needing to be chased
Comfortable with digital tools and quick to pick up recent software
Prior experience with social media or content creation, brand, personal project or uni work all count
Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager
Take feedback quickly and apply it
Direct exposure to the founders, real mentorship rather than a shadow seat
Ownership of real projects with visible impact on the brand
Hybrid setup, one day a week in the office at Salesforce Tower, Sydney CBD
Clear path to full time as the business scales
