This Part Time position is suited to an
experienced
medical receptionist that thrives in a very busy but friendly team setting.
We also work closely with our After-Hours Service also located at Third Avenue Surgery premises.
Duties include but not limited to:
· Meeting and greeting patients on arrival to practice.
· Answering patient enquires and making appointments.
· Preparation and receipting of patient accounts (private and bulk billing)
· Scanning correspondence and allocating results and reports
· Banking reconciliation
· Ensuring a friendly and professional service is provided to patients
Essential selection criteria:
Must be fully COVID19 vaccinated

Previous medical reception experience
Excellent attention to detail
· Excellent phone manner
· Good communication skills
· Ability to prioritise duties
· Ability to multitask
· Skilled outlook
· Previous experience with private and bulk billing accounts.




Excellent understanding of Medicare.
· Computer literacy, knowledge of Best Practice Medical Software desirable
The successful applicant will be skilled in presentation and work ethic, have excellent customer service and communication skills.
This is a Part Time position offering hours from Monday to Friday between 1.00pm to 7.30pm.
