The Role
We're seeking a confident Town Planner with 2+ years' experience in the DA space to join a small, high-performing team.
You'll manage your own portfolio of applications while working closely with clients and internal stakeholders.
Projects range across residential, commercial, industrial developments, subdivisions and earthworks, offering robust variety and exposure.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing guidance, advice and quotes to clients
Preparing, lodging and managing Development Applications (DA) to Council and State authorities
Managing multiple active applications (typically * projects)
Reviewing client enquiries and preparing fee proposals
Handling administrative tasks associated with consultancy services
Liaising with councils, consultants and clients throughout the approval process
About You
You're a proactive and confident planner who enjoys working directly with clients and managing your own workload.
You will have:
A tertiary qualification in Town Planning or related discipline
Minimum 2 years' experience in Development Applications (DA)
Experience within the QLD planning system (preferred)
Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
A confident, outgoing personality with the ability to work both independently and within a team
A valid driver's licence
Full working rights (PR/Citizens only)
