The site produces chemical solutions used within food manufacturing and industrial processing environments, including products applied to metal surfaces.
There is a close knit team on site, with a team-oriented working environment, strong technical support and hands‐on training from an experienced manager.The RoleReporting to the Technical Manager, the Technical Services Chemist will support day‐to‐day laboratory operations and ensure production batches meet all required specifications before release.ResponsibilitiesComplete quality control testing of production batches prior to releaseVerify products meet required specifications and quality standardsConduct corrosion testing and prepare clear technical reportsMaintain and calibrate laboratory and testing equipmentSupport technical service requests from sales teams and customersAssist with investigation and resolution of product or technical issuesMaintain accurate laboratory records and test documentationWork closely with production to support consistent product qualityFollow Permit to Work requirements and site safety proceduresEnsure compliance with relevant EHS policies and company standardsYour BackgroundA degree in Chemistry or a closely related disciplineAt least 1 year of experience within chemicals, manufacturing, laboratory testing or a related industryStrong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testingConfidence working with technical procedures and documentationGood written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to work collaboratively within a small teamA proactive, responsible and solutions‐focused mindsetExperience in metal finishing, corrosion testing or speciality chemical manufacturing would be advantageous, but is not essential.What's on Offer?
