About the Team
This role reports to the Assembly Team Lead and works alongside Mechanics, Electricians and Production Workers at our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) in Redbank.
The Assembly Team is part of the greater Production team that includes Painters, Welders, the Prototype Shop, the Armour Shop and the Logistic Systems team.

About the Role
As an Assembly Mechanic you will be responsible for completing mechanical build tasks for Vehicles and Subsystems in first‐run production, following Manufacturing Instructions, Engineering Drawings, Quality Standards and WH&S; requirements.
Qualifications
Certificate III in Heavy Diesel / Light Vehicle or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
Ability to read and interpret production drawings, manuals,



and technical documents;
High level of self‐motivation, initiative, and willingness to work unsupervised;
Ability to travel interstate or overseas for short training periods (infrequent);
Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
