About The RoleInfrabuild Manufacturing seeks a safety‐focused Electrician to maintain and improve plant operations at the Rooty Hill Steel Mill.
This permanent, full‐time role reports to the Electrical Team Leader and involves planned maintenance, breakdown support, and project work.
You will work, 4 x 10‐hour shifts Monday‐Thursday (Tuesday‐Friday) with potential to move into a rotating shift schedule later.
All tools are supplied and the company provides regular training and development prospects.ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, operational checks, and routine inspections on plant equipment.Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime.Support installation and commissioning of current equipment and projects.Monitor plant performance with a focus on safety, reliability, and efficiency.Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve processes.Required QualificationsCurrent NSW Electrical Trade qualification (Supervisor or Contractor licence).
Proven experience in breakdown fault finding, repair, and maintenance, ideally within manufacturing or heavy industry.Strong communication, time‐management,
