We have regular opportunities in the Brisbane and greater QLD region and are seeking experienced Civil Roadworks Supervisors for initial 1‐2 year assignments with a view to extensions or ongoing roles, potentially progressing to a TMR Pre‐Qualified Civil Roadworks/Structures Inspector or client‐side role with TMR, councils or consultants.
Responsibilities
Use knowledge of TMR policies, standards and specifications and be able to read, understand and interpret technical documents and standards;
Keen observation skills to identify conforming or non‐conforming road construction materials and practices;
Confidently use a mobile phone or tablet to take, store and upload photos to government portals (cloud storage);
Prepare written documents including daily diary and reports;
Communicate with all stakeholders and keep them informed of progress and quality of works;
Provide effective administration and documentation as required;
Provide a skilled commitment to the health and safety of staff, contractors and site visitors in line with company policy;
Computer skills in Microsoft Windows, MS Word,



MS Excel, file management and e‐mail is a distinct advantage.
Required Experience
Minimum of 5‐7 years of practical experience in road‐works construction and at least 2 years of crew supervision of road projects to TMR or any other Australian Road Construction Authority standards.
Candidates must have an Australian driver's licence and access to transport.
Priority will be given to those already living in Brisbane or Queensland or willing to relocate.
Working Conditions
Standard hours nominally 40 per week with occasional Saturday or Sunday work expected.
Preference for own mobile phone.
Must be able to meet for assessment and dates.
