Tractor Operator / Land Management Crew Member (Casual)

Steve's Slashing is a family-owned firebreak and land management business servicing Mandurah, Rockingham, Baldivis and surrounding areas.
We're looking for a reliable, hands-on team member to join our crew.
Casual position
with an immediate start.
Guaranteed
2–3 days per week
, with
full time hours available over the summer firebreak season
.
Duties include:
Operating tractors and slashing equipment
Towing tractors and trailers
Whipper snipping, pole saw work and vegetation trimming
General property maintenance
Using the ServiceM8 app to navigate to jobs, view job details and upload before and after photos (essential)
Essential:
Current manual driver's licence and your own vehicle to get to work
Experience operating tractors or similar machinery
Confident towing trailers and machinery
Comfortable using a smartphone and apps for navigation and job management
Reliable, physically fit and able to work outdoors
Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to look after equipment
Must be able to work in Australia
Desirable (not essential):
MR Driver's Licence
Agricultural Chemical User (Poisons) Licence
Experience spraying glyphosate
Chainsaw or pole saw experience
Full training will be provided.
