This new role presents an exciting chance for a payroll skilled ready to take on their next challenge and make a real impact.Job DescriptionReporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a supportive team, you will be responsible for:Processing medium-high volume payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.Maintaining and updating accurate payroll data, including data collection and entry.Processing calculations including back-payments, redundancy calculations,



terminations and leaveentitlementsProviding support and guidance to employees on payroll-related matters.Collaborating and communicating with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll related queriesSupporting the Payroll Helpdesk as required and ensure that tickets are resolved in a timely manner.Interpreting relevant Awards and ensuring compliance with internal policies and legislative requirementsCompleting project work as directed by Payroll Lead/ManagerThe Successful ApplicantTo be a success in this role you will possess:Previous experience in a similar Payroll Officer position within a medium/large scale businessUnderstanding of and experience interpreting multiple Awards/EBAsHigh level attention to detail and accuracyA demonstrated ability to communicate complex matters in a simplified mannerStrong stakeholder management skills and ability to work within a quick paced environmentWhat's on OfferFlexible work arrangements after training$K+ superSupportive and inclusive culture that values collaboration and innovation.Commitment to excellence in systems, processes, and employee experience.Opportunities for career development
