Role Description
The SAA Accredited Solar Electrician role at Moran Power Solutions is a full‐time, on‐site position based in Brisbane, QLD.
The Solar Electrician will install, commission, and maintain solar PV systems, including inverters, wiring, switchboards, and associated protection devices.
Daily tasks include diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues, performing scheduled maintenance and repairs, and ensuring all work complies with relevant electrical and solar standards and safety regulations.
The role involves collaborating with team members and clients, completing accurate documentation such as compliance certificates and installation reports,



and supporting general electrical work as needed across residential and commercial sites.
Qualifications
Solid foundation in electricity principles and practical electrical work, with demonstrated experience in installation and wiring.
Skills in maintenance & repair of solar PV systems and general electrical infrastructure, including routine servicing and fault correction.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve electrical and solar system issues efficiently.
Understanding of electrical engineering concepts relevant to system design, load calculations, and safe integration of solar equipment.
Current electrician license and SAA solar accreditation, with familiarity with Australian Standards and local electrical codes.
Commitment to safety practices, use of appropriate PPE, and adherence to risk management procedures on‐site.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
Good communication and teamwork skills, reliable work ethic, and valid driver's license for travel to customer sites across South East Queensland.
