We're partnering with a leading insurance organisation to recruit an experienced
HR Operations Lead
to oversee HR operations across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region.

You'll play a key role in driving operational excellence while supporting a regional workforce in a complex, fast-paced environment.
The opportunity
Reporting to the Regional HR Leader, you'll lead the day-to-day HR operations function, ensuring efficient and compliant HR service delivery across the employee lifecycle. You'll work closely with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Legal, IT and global HR teams to continuously improve systems, processes and the overall employee experience.
Key responsibilities
Lead HR operations across the Pacific region, ensuring high-quality and timely service delivery.
Drive process improvements and identify opportunities to automate and simplify HR workflows.
Act as the regional HRIS lead, supporting system enhancements, data integrity and reporting.




Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate employee changes and smooth payroll processes.
Maintain HR policies, governance and compliance across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
Provide HR reporting and insights to support workforce planning and business decisions.
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external HR vendors.
Lead and develop a small HR operations team (where applicable).
About you
You'll be an experienced HR Operations skilled who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and working across multiple stakeholders.
You'll bring:
6+ years' experience in HR Operations within a complex or regional workplace.
Strong HRIS experience (Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle or similar).
A solid understanding of Australian employment legislation, with New Zealand experience highly regarded.
Experience supporting payroll processes, HR compliance and data management.
Excellent analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
The ability to influence stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced environment.
