I'm partnering with a well-established
6 Partner Chartered Accounting firm
in the Sydney CBD that is looking to add an
Intermediate Accountant
to its growing Business Services team.
With a loyal client base of privately owned businesses, SMEs, family groups and high-net-worth individuals, this firm is known for providing quality advice while maintaining a supportive, down-to-earth culture. You'll receive hands-on mentoring from experienced Managers and Partners, giving you the opportunity to develop both your technical and client-facing skills.
The Opportunity
You'll work across a diverse portfolio of clients, taking ownership of:
Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
Preparing BAS, IAS and FBT returns
Assisting with tax planning and business advisory projects
Managing client queries and building solid relationships
Supporting clients with cloud accounting solutions, including Xero




Working closely with Seniors and Managers on more complex engagements
Developing your knowledge across tax, compliance and advisory services
About You
You'll ideally have:
2–4 years' experience in an Australian Business Services or Public Practice firm
Progress towards (or completion of) your CA or CPA
Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive attitude and genuine desire to continue learning
Experience using Xero, MYOB and Microsoft Excel
