Operations Manager - Gateway Shopping Centre
About the role:
Iconic Recruit has been exclusively engaged to recruit an Operations Manager for the Northern Territory's newest shopping centre, Gateway Shopping Centre located in Darwin.
This standout shopping centre boasts 42,000GLA of retail with over 100 speciality stores, Woolworths, Big W and Darwin's only V-Max Event Cinemas.
The Operations Manager will play a vital role within the Centre Management team by managing the overall operations, maintenance, and smooth running this premium asset.
Duties:
You will oversee all aspects of hard and soft services, contractor induction and management, OH&S;, preventative, and reactive maintenance, as well as providing support for OPEX and CAPEX budget management. You will deliver small projects, assist tenancy coordination, and provide overall operational support to the team.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience as a Facilities, Maintenance or Operations Manager in a shopping centre, or similar
The ability to communicate with others and work in a team setting is critical.
Computer and financial reporting literacy
Qualifications in Facilities Management, Engineering or Building Services Trade
Robust knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety, Compliance and Risk
Excellent customer service skills and an expert in relationship building.
Ability to multitask and prioritise at a high level.
