About the Role:
Participates in the preparation cooking and presentation of food for the respective outlet, unsupervised.
Prepares the required quantities of food for the outlets as per the instructions given.
Prepares and serves all food according to the Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney standards and procedures.
Ensures that all kitchen equipment is in valuable working order.
Maintains a high standard of grooming at all times.
Keeps the dishwashing area organised and clean, hand washes dirty dishes, cooking equipment, chinaware, cutlery and glassware when needed.
Ensures the dishwashing machine is cleaned and kept in good working order - checking temperature gauges and detergent indicators frequently.
You will be paid on an hourly wage basis under the Hospitality Industry General Award .
You must have working rights in Australia.
