About the Role
Location: Regional Victoria - relocation support available. Reporting to the Reliability Manager, this role will support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of a modern manufacturing facility. The position will suit someone who enjoys hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and working within evolving manufacturing environments where adaptability and problem-solving are highly valued. This is a practical, team-oriented role requiring strong mechanical capability, a proactive mindset, and the ability to respond effectively to breakdowns and operational challenges as the site continues to scale production.
Key responsibilities
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance across production and processing equipment.
Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting activities to minimise downtime.
Support commissioning and ramp-up activities across recent equipment and systems.
Maintain conveyors, motors, bearings, drive systems, and associated plant equipment.
Work collaboratively with operations, engineering, and reliability teams.
Assist with shutdown activities, equipment improvements, and reliability initiatives.




Support safe work practices and contribute to a strong site safety culture.
Participate in an on-call maintenance roster as required.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation within CMMS systems.
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the following
Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting.
Dual trade (Electrical) capability highly regarded.
Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, packaging, or automated industrial environments.
Strong fault-finding and breakdown response capability.
Experience working with conveyors, bearings, motors, pneumatics, and automated equipment.
Exposure to PLCs, SCADA systems, and integrated manufacturing environments advantageous.
Ability to work effectively within fast-paced and evolving operational settings.
Solid communication skills and collaborative approach.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Flexibility to support operational requirements during commissioning and ramp-up activities.
