Queensland Government in Cairns South is seeking a temporary Ranger (OO5) to lead a small team responsible for protected areas across the Cairns region. This hands-on role blends field work, project delivery and mentoring within a supportive team setting.
You will supervise field operations including visitor management, asset maintenance, fire, pest and weed control, and natural and cultural resource management, while coordinating with stakeholders and reporting to the Ranger in Charge.
