Our client is looking for Diesel Fitters to join there hard working and dedicated team.
As Fitters you will be responsible for all aspects of mechanical repairs located in the Pilbara Region.
Your role would include and not be limited to the following duties: * analyse, diagnose, repair, modify or install parts and equipment working to minimize downtime.
studying drawings to determine suitable material, sequence of operations, and machine settings.
Diagnosing, repairing, fitting and overhauling engines, plant equipment and machinery.
Maintaining, diagnosing, repairing and fitting hydraulic components of diesel–powered attachments such as pumps and injectors.
Dismantling, repairing and reassembling parts/components.
Using oxy, electric, TIG and MIG welding techniques to fit, replace, assemble and repair metal parts including fabrication of parts, machinery and other equipment.
Testing repaired parts for proper performance.
Testing and repairing basic electrical circuits.
Using computers and specialized tools to diagnose and repair faults.
Inspecting equipment and machinery for faults.
